Heather Guerra, Au.D., FAAA
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Heather Guerra, Au.D., FAAA graduated from A.T. Still University in August of 2013 where she acquired clinical experience in a broad range of environments, including private practices, ENT offices, a public school system, aural rehabilitation groups and out-patient clinics. Interestingly, audiology is a second career for Dr. Guerra who worked as a respiratory therapist after graduation from Arizona State University. As a respiratory therapist, she found she missed audiology and soon returned to school to pursue her doctoral degree. Dr. Guerra was born in Germany, spent her early years in Scotland and moved to the United States when she was eight years old. She is a talented cellist, touring Europe with the Phoenix Symphony Youth Orchestra while still in high school. Dr. Guerra was recently married and is the proud mother of “Corbin,” a young and energetic Corgi dog. Like many of our patients, Dr. Guerra suffers from tinnitus and recently found relief with a retraining device; she is now our resident expert on tinnitus and is eager to help our patients who also suffer from this debilitating condition.
Jessica McLindsay, Au.D., FAAA

She is married, and her energetic Labrador Retriever, “Reagan,” keeps she and her husband company. In her spare time, Dr. McLindsay loves to cook, hike, read, shop and bike. She loves children and plans to apply her professional expertise to help children suffering from hearing loss.
René Scharber has her Bachelor of Science degree in deaf education and is a sign language interpreter. She often uses her signing skills to interpret for our patients during the week and with a deaf ministry on the weekends. She also teaches sign language to doctor of audiology students at A.T. Still University. She brings the accounting skills she learned at her grandmother’s side to this family business. She helps with the front office, insurance, accounting and the network administration for the computers in the office. She and Dr. Scharber have three adult children and five grandchildren.
